Goodbye Bojack Horseman

Saying Goodbye is hard especially to a talking Horse that's so happened to be a actor in a world where animals are treated the same as humans but it is an animation on Netflix. Anything really goes.

Bojack Horseman final season the second half has aired on Netflix. Bojack Horseman is a animated show about a talking horse who is an actor in Hollywood. It follows his career and his fall from being at the top. Bojack Horseman the show deals with issues such as alcoholism, abuse, mental illness and drug usage. These topics are shown through both the characters of Bojack the title character and his friend/writer Diane.

The show first aired in 2014. The show starred many a-listers such as Alison Brie, Will Arnett and Aaron Paul. The animation show also had many guest stars from Zach Braff (Scrubs) to Stephen Colbert.

The show emphasizes the main themes of happiness and how it is a choice to be happy. It also emphasizes how you have to reach rock bottom to get yourself out that deep loathing state of mind. Audiences saw that in the character of Bojack Horseman. He was at the top with a hit 90s tv show and now he wants a comeback to acting. In the end, it turns out not to be the case when drinking takes over his life and hurts numerous people in the end.

Bojack's character went from a loathing character that changed into someone who became more considerate of others after he hit rock bottom when Sarah Lynn character died. It also shaped Bojack after all the bad things came back to haunt him. Bojack also came from a broken home which characters saw through all these seasons in flashbacks of his parents. Now it does not excuse Bojack's behavior but it does show how in the end Bojack realized that his parents are not the root of his problems.

Now the character of Diane went through some changes herself in the animated series in which she had to deal with depression which showcased through her physical changes and her attitude changed. She also had to learn to accept that she was happy and that she needed to enjoy her own happiness.

Each character of Bojack Horseman changed by learning to accept happiness and not self-destruct through their own negative mindsets or actions. They learned to accept their past and chose not to let their past define themself.

Now it's time to lay Bojack Horseman to rest.
